3D Project Visualization

Photorealistic 3D modeling and site compositing to visualize building additions, commercial spaces, and equipment before construction begins.

01. WHO IT IS FOR

Built for Contractors and Architects Presenting Unbuilt Projects

General contractors, commercial architects, historical preservation boards, and property developers who need to present unbuilt structures to donors, planning committees, or investors.

When a project exists only as architectural blueprints or CAD drawings, non-builders struggle to visualize how the finished structure will look in its real-world environment.

◆Commercial contractors pitching additions to planning boards
◆Historical organizations seeking donor funding for restorations
◆Developers presenting site proposals to municipal committees
◆Industrial facilities planning major equipment installs

Deliverable Scope
One master 60 to 90 second composited video render plus five still views
Turnaround Time
2 to 4 weeks depending on model complexity
03. HOW IT RUNS

Photogrammetry Site Scans and 3D Matchmoving Workflow

We fly precision drone photogrammetry grid patterns over your physical site to capture elevation, surrounding trees, and neighboring structures. We then import architectural CAD drawings or PDF blueprints into 3D software to build millimeter-accurate digital models.

Using 3D camera tracking, we match camera motion, sun angle, and environmental shadows so the digital structure sits seamlessly inside real ground and aerial video.

01

CAD & Blueprint Intake

We ingest architectural drawings, CAD files, material specs, and dimensional blueprints.

02

Drone Site Photogrammetry

We fly precision grid patterns to map real-world site elevation and surrounding structures.

03

3D Modeling & Texturing

We construct textures, materials, and digital geometry accurate to architectural specs.

04

Matchmoving & Rendering

We track live video camera paths and render photorealistic composited video sequences.

Client Preparation & Site Requirements

✓Provide complete CAD drawings, Revit files, or PDF elevation blueprints
✓Supply material specifications, exterior finishes, and color swatches
✓Grant property site access for drone photogrammetry scanning flights
✓Identify key camera angles desired for final board or donor presentations

05. WHY IT MATTERS

Eliminating Visualization Gaps for Decision Makers

2D blueprints and floor plans are difficult for clients, planning boards, and non-builders to interpret. When decision-makers cannot visualize the finished structure in context, approvals stall, fundraising slows, and high-stakes projects get delayed.

Traditional 3D renders show buildings in generic CGI environments. Driftline solves this by compositing accurate 3D CAD models directly into live 4K drone video shot on your actual site.

07. HOW IT GETS QUOTED

How 3D Visualization Gets Quoted

Custom project quote based on model complexity and composited video length.

Half Day Scope

Initial site scan covers drone photogrammetry and ground reference camera capture.

Full Day Scope

Multi site scanning or large acreage development footprint mapping.

Key Scope Drivers

  • ◆Geometric complexity of architectural blueprints or CAD models
  • ◆Length and camera path complexity of composited video tracking
  • ◆Number of high resolution still renders required
Two revision rounds included. Files delivered to a folder you own with unlimited commercial use. Every project quote is fixed in writing before we shoot.
